April is approaching and that means it is Christmas Tree time in Oregon. We made it past Valentines, St. Patrick's Day, daylight savings time, Easter and now we are headed towards April! Hard to believe that there are only 7 months to Thanksgiving. What does that mean for all of us in the commercial Christmas business? It means that the busy production months are coming so that we can get our customer orders produced and shipped for the 2016 holiday season. It also brings us to Tree time in Oregon! We have been producing branches for our Oregon Cascade Fir and Northwest Conifer trees like nobody's business! We are also building tree frames on a daily basis, powder coating, harnessing, and adding those fabulous LED lights that our early customers have requested. These customers have taken advantage of the early season order discounts that we offer each year. Time is running out as we only offer the biggest discounts until April 15th. Of course you can still order a tree or display from us after that time but the costs do increase.
